my assignment for break is to come up with a list of colleges i want to visit. i have some in mind, but i’m not sure which ones i want to visit. based on my credentials are there any colleges you would suggest to take a look at? i’d prefer if they were in either the midwest or east coast.

i would prefer a medium sized school. i would love it if the school had division 1 men’s football and/or basketball teams where all of the students were really into going to the games. i also want it to be academic though.

4.60 GPA (3.97 unweighted)
class rank 2/1200 students
218 on psat, but i can definitely do better

live in chicago suburbs
first person on mom’s side to go to college
my uncle went there and my cousin is currently an undergrad there

high school tennis team 3 years
play at a tennis club
badminton team captain freshman year
very involved with Student Council (Representative Freshman year, Publicity Committee Chair for the past two years, Turnabout Dance Committee Chair, Prom Fashion Show Committee Chair, and I’m going to run for exec board next year)
Volunteering at the hospital every week since the summer after Freshman Year
Work for my city’s park district as a tour guide in my town May-October, as Santa’s Helper in December, and a kid’s birthday part host year-round.
Serve as a youth representative on my city’s Transportation Advisory Board.

Another one of my hobbies is designing and constructing jewelry, some of which I have sold.
