Where/how to hire artist(s) to create modest jewelry designs/figurines?

jewelry art
DJP asked:

I run a small jewelry company and I would like to make approximately 1 inch figurings of tons of random things (e.g. zoo animals, musical instruments, etc.). My budget per piece is $25-$75. The artist would have to draw an item for my company to then create as a jewelry mold; or perhaps have the artist make a (clay?) figurine. The copyright and all rights to the art would belong to my company.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

  • Kris:

Deviantart.com has lots of artists who do jewelry and would take a commission like you described.

The artist can use microcrystalline wax check with your local university inthe art department for students who are majoring in jewelery design they will work for these low wages.
